Our most popular site, this Premium Pond Campsite is adjacent to our five acre pond. Picnic table and fire ring with grill are included along with plenty of shaded level area for a large tent. 

The spring fed pond has a dock and depth ranges from 6'-18'. It stays very cool in the summer and is excellent for swimming, paddle boarding, and fishing (catch and release please). Canoe rentals are available but feel free to bring your own canoe, kayak, or paddle board. There is a porta potty near the pond dock. Upscale bathhouse with endless hot showers and fully private restroom stalls is beside our welcome center - about a half mile away from the pond area.

Bohamia is a 268 acre private forest retreat surrounded by 400,000 acres of the Talladega National Forest. You'll feel like a world away even though you are about an hour's drive from Birmingham and Atlanta. Bohamia is best explored on foot or bicycle (or kayak in the case of our pond and nearby Talladega Lake). We have miles of marked trails and many unmarked trails for adventurous types.
