Campsite area on rolling hills with some tree cover for shade.  Two minute walk to bathhouse or shorter walk to portapotty at barn. Parking for several cars available very close by. 

• Booking guarantees a campsite in this area but not a specific spot - select your campsite from available spots when you check-in
• Nightly rate includes 2 Adults (14+). One child (13-) per adult parent or guardian stays free.

• Tent or Car/Truck camping only. Pull behind campers and trailers are not allowed at campsites. Generators are not allowed.

• Fire Ring w/Cooking Grate and Picnic Table Provided
•  This is a Primitive Camp Site - No water or electrical service. Water is available at the barn or bathhouse.
• Upscale Bathhouse with private restrooms and endless hot showers is near our welcome center. Porta potties at pond and barn.
• Wood, ice, snacks, and camping essentials are available for delivery from our virtual camp store 8am-8pm Daily. 
• Quiet Hours are 10pm-8am daily. Always be respectful of other campers on property - let's enjoy the sounds of nature together!
• Well behaved pets on leashes are welcome. Clean up after your pet. Pay attention to your pet around other animals and guests.

Bohamia is a 268 acre private forest retreat surrounded by 400,000 acres of the Talladega National Forest.
You'll feel like a world away even though you are about an hour's drive from Birmingham and Atlanta. The property is best explored on foot or bicycle. We have miles of marked trails and many unmarked areas for adventurous types. Rushing Talladega Creek and waterfall is a moderate half mile walk down our Yellow Trail.

Bohamia's spring fed pond has a dock and water depth ranges from 6'-20'. It stays cool in the summer and is excellent for swimming, paddle boarding, and catch and release fishing - it's FULL of fish! Canoe and peddle boats are available but feel free to bring your own floats and non motorized watercraft. Don't forget your fishing gear!
